Peter Harp was elected as Reigate and Banstead Councillor for Nork Ward in the May 2024 election. He was elected as Surrey County Councillor for the Nork and Tattenhams Ward in May 2025. Peter believes in the importance of the environment, preserving and enhancing everything that is best in Nork and Tattenhams.

  • Served the Residents of Nork as borough councillor for 5 years.
  • Chairman of Standards Committee, Chairman of two Overview and Scrutiny Committee working groups on planning and environmental sustainability, member of the Planning Committee
  • Borough Council Heritage Champion, member of Surrey County Council Historic Environment Forum. Former Chairman of Surrey Archaeological Research Committee
  • Banstead Commons Conservator
  • Secretary of Nork Residents’ Association, administrator of Friends of Nork Park, volunteer for QEF charity.
  • Lived in Nork for over 50 years.
